Hello! I'm Yahia, a Sudanese 🇸🇩 software engineer fresh out of UofK University of khartoum

I’m a software-oriented generalist with a background spanning programming, system administration, design, planning, and project leadership. I’m passionate about building tools, solving problems, understanding systems, and contributing to technology that improves people’s lives.

From 2021 to 2025, I worked at strangeLogic ltd, growing from technical support and system administration to owning entire databases and building complex AI automation flows.

I’m motivated by curiosity, creativity, and the belief that every skill you acquire, every book you read, and every challenge you face shapes you into someone more capable of helping others. My ultimate passion is using technology, empathy, and thoughtful problem-solving to create meaningful social impact.

Outside of work, I’m fascinated by the full spectrum of human experience. I LOVE movies and all forms of art because they let us see life through different eyes. I’m drawn to philosophy, psychology, and any discourse that tries to make sense of the world. I'm also into sports, training and pushing my body, learning languages (even if inconsistently), taking long soul-walks, cooking as an act of affection, and—non-negotiably—ice cream and shai-bil-laban.
